Ms. Crystal's Little Rugrats
We are licensed family child care (155841). We provide a loving and caring environment that has the feel of “Grandma’s House”. Your child will have a place to blossom, learn and make new friends. I strongly believe in the saying “It takes a Village to raise a child,” which is why we encourage the parents to be a part of their child’s learning experience at Ms. Crystal’s Little Rugrats.

Ms. Crystal

Hello there! My name is Mrs. Crystal Barksdale, owner/director of Ms. Crystal’s little Rugrats LLC. I am a wife to an awesome husband for over 24 years, a mother of three awesome children and one adorable grandchild. I grew up in a family where my grandmothers were the neighborhood caregivers. I took what I learned from them and turned my caring for children into a profession. I have been in the childcare profession for over 21 years and I love every bit of what I do! Every day is an adventure full of teachable moments when working with children and I always strive to ensure that the children experience as much happiness as possible. Here at Ms. Crystal’s Little Rugrats LLC we strive to encourage all children’s growth in all areas of development.
Ms. Mykeia

Hello, my name is Mykeia, and I am a teacher here at Ms. Crystal’s Little Rugrats. I enjoy many things, but I absolutely love children. I have been working with children for over nine years. Throughout my tenure here I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience providing a safe yet, stimulating environment for children of all ages. I love to make learning fun. In addition to teaching exciting lessons that promote success for the children, I interact with them while doing fun indoor and outdoor activities. I understand the relationship between the parent, child, and caregiver is very crucial which is why I like to ensure that all the parents of the children I care for are comfortable with me and that I am comfortable with them.
